I am currently researching liposuction for mons pubis area and was wondering if this would work or if a lift would also be required? The size of the area depends on my lymphoedema, some days it’s smaller than others

Hello; there is no visible looseness on the skin. Only with Vaserlipo treatment; reducing fat would be sufficient. I do not think; any cutting would be required.

liposuction of this area can improve the contour greatly. You are be concerned about laxity.in some situations, the plastic surgeon can be quite sure there will be significant laxity. In this case, it may be better to go ahead and plan skin excision. Otherwise, liposuction could be done and the decision about skin excision made at a later date

An in-person examination will provide more specific details especially with examination of the quality of your skin in the mons and lower abdominal areas. However, based on the pictures and your description, it seems that you may benefit from liposuction of the mons pubis area. A lift may be required if there is loose skin or the quality of the skin does not yield good retraction potential. A plastic surgeon that specializes in body contouring procedures should be able to adequately assess you and devise a treatment plan that will benefit you the most.
