Doctor said lipo would be best for fat pockets close to mouth in lower cheeks, is this the way to go? (Photos)

I some fat pockets that formed (more on right side then left) near my mouth on my lower cheeks. Dr recommended lipo for the area and doesn't think it's buffalo fat. I am not sure if lipo would be the way to go. I had a lower face and neck lift in September 2021.

Hello; for patients, who undergo with face-neck lift surgery; the earliest returning fields are; marionette lines and jowl area. In fact, in patients; who have recently undergone surgery; I would not recommend for repeating surgery; in this area. I give an advise for the "Facetite" implementation.

It is not common to liposuction on the face.  I'd do the facelift and reposition the SMAS and skin will have a tightening effect and probably eliminate the jowling and excess skin you are having.

No, do not remove fat in your face for this will cause your skin to sag more and to age you. Most of that fullness is not fat. I suggest considering radiofrequency micro-needling to tighten your whole face and neck and improve the texture of your skin, or a mini facelift.

I don’t think you have an abnormal fat distribution in your face.
I suggest you ask your provider to show you some before and after pictures of other patients, they’ve treated the same way.
You may also want to get a few other opinions by having multiple consultations.
I think changing the contour in your face is going to be challenging.
