Would labia puffing (fat transfer) benefit me after labiaplasty & clitoral hood reduction? (Photos)

Question

Ive had labia plasty and clitoral hood reduction , how ever i am still not happy . Would fat transfsr benefit me as in close my outer lips so they touch so nothing is visible when i stand? It also feels more bulky on the top (hood) and my labia feels to short . Do i need more tissue out of my hood in order to close up?

HI Bobbi,

A very small further hood reduction can make the hood a bit smaller. I would not suggest fat transfer for several reasons: First, it does not last and secondly, it might ( temporarily) make the labia Majora too big and bulky.

Labia majora puffing would probably not help much if at all to cover your clitoral hood. I know you have a hood reduction but there are many different hood reductions. I invented a clitoropexy with clitoral hood reduction in which the clitoris is pushed closer to the pubic bone and the width, thickness, length, and protuberance of the clitoral hood can be decreased. I have performed this procedure over 450 times with excellent results. At that time, the hood can be pushed in and tacked in more which would help your hood profusion much more than puffing and probably result in your desired look.

Thanks for your question and the photos your provided. If you are looking for a fuller labia majora, fat transfer would be a great option. Not all the fat transfer will survive after the first procedure. You may need multiple fat transfer procedures to get your desire result of having the labia majora touch. It is difficult to comment on the “bulky” clitoral hood without examining you. Make sure you consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon. Good luck.

As far as I understand, you want the inner lips and clitoral area not to be visible at all. In this case, labia majora puffing is the right procedure for you.

You would benefit from further clitoral hood recuction as a first step. You may then need a labial puffing depending on the final results.
If labia are too smal there isn't a good option other than reducing the size of the hood.

Labial puffing aka fat injections will make the labia majora larger. It will not, however, make them come closer together. The reason for this is that the root of the visible clitoris sits high on your anatomy. Other women have a lower root and the cleft is narrower as a consequence.
