I want to improve under eye deficiency and upper eyelid exposure . Would fillers or a blepheroplasty or something else be best to achieve a natural aesthetic result?
Answer: Fat transfer around the eyes Based on your pictures, you would be a good candidate for fat transfer around the eyes. You could start first with fillers to see if you like it. It is important that you go to a person who has an excellent eye and shares your vision otherwise they will just inject in a "color-by-number" approach leaving you dissatisfied and swearing off fillers forever. Best of luck !

Answer: Best procedures to improve the appearance of your eyes and provide a natural result? Thank you for your inquiry. I understand your concerns about under-eye deficiency and upper eyelid exposure and the desire to improve the natural appearance of your eyes. Here are some procedures that might be considered:Dermal Fillers: These can be an effective option for treating under-eye deficiencies such as hollows or dark circles. They can add volume and smooth out the skin, providing a more youthful appearance. Remember that fillers are a temporary solution and may require maintenance treatments every 6-12 months.Blepharoplasty: This surgical procedure could be beneficial for addressing both under-eye deficiencies and upper eyelid exposure. It involves the removal of excess skin and/or fat from the eyelids, which can significantly enhance the appearance of the eyes. This is a more invasive procedure with a more extended recovery period, but the results are typically long-lasting.Botox: Botox may also be an option to lift the eyebrows and reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles around the eyes, resulting in a more refreshed look. The effects of Botox are temporary, typically lasting 3-4 months.Eye Creams: If you're looking for a less invasive option, various eye creams on the market can help reduce puffiness and dark circles under the eyes. The best procedure for you depends on your specific needs, your overall health, and your personal preferences. I highly recommend consulting with a board-certified dermatologist to discuss these options and determine the best course of action.

Answer: Options If you are looking for a more permanent solution you can consider fat grafting. This is a surgical intervention which would transfer fat to the hollowed areas to address your concerns. A non surgical approach would be fillers. This treatment is done in the office with results lasting up to a year. See a board certified plastic surgeon near you to learn more.

Answer: Correcting Hollow around the eyes In my opinion, the single best way to correct the hollows that you see in the lower eyelid and cheek area, as well as the upper eyelids, is with the use of your own fat. I have been performing fat grafting for 30 years with the patient receiving natural and practically permanent results. You need to have a properly chosen area where fat is harvested and a proper technique in transferring the fat. I hope this helps and good luck from New York City Plastic Surgery.
