Hi @cristina lee. Thank you for sharing your photo. I recommend Morpheus 8. Morpheus 8 is a non-surgical treatment that helps to improve the texture, tone, and appearance of the skin by stimulating collagen production and remodeling. The depth of the microneedles and the intensity of the RF energy can be adjusted based on the individual's needs and desired results. This flexibility allows the treatment to target specific areas of concern, such as wrinkles, fine lines, acne scars, and uneven skin texture.Best of luck, Dr. Nima
Don't fret. In the hands of an experienced filler injector, the jawline can be rather easily straightened, contoured and defined to eliminate sagging and jowls. It shouldn't take more than five minutes per side to achieve with immediate results that typically evoke a "Wow!" response. You would be wise to consult with a board certified cosmetic dermatologist. A word to the wise: be cautious about claims for this or that, relatively expensive "bells and whistles" energy device, such as fraxel lasers or RF devices, etc., as the hard science to support the use of these expensive "here-today-gone tomorrow" gizmos lags well behind the intense marketing and advertising hype and social media buzz that is used to hawk them. Hope this helps and best of luck.
There are several treatment options available to address perioral mounds/jowls. These treatments range from non-surgical to surgical procedures. Here are a few recommendations:Dermal Fillers are injectable treatments that can help to add volume to the skin, reducing the appearance of jowls. They can be used to lift and contour the lower face.Botox can be used to relax the muscles that pull down on the jawline, creating a lifting effect.Laser Treatments can help to tighten the skin and stimulate collagen production, reducing the appearance of sagging skin.Ultherapy or HIFU are non-invasive treatments that use ultrasound technology to tighten and lift the skin.Thread Lift is a minimally invasive procedure where dissolvable threads are used to lift and tighten the skin.Liposuction is a surgical procedure that can remove excess fat in the jowl area.Facelift or Mini Facelift is a surgical procedure that can provide a more dramatic and long-lasting improvement in the appearance of jowls.
You will likely have the best result from a combination of treatments. Fillers can be used to contour the jawline by adding volume where needed. Morpheus8 treatments can be added as well to improve overall skin tone and texture. See an experienced provider near you to learn more.
To date we've been using dermal fillers such as Hyaluronic acid and Ca++ based Radiesse in combination with RF devices like Morpheus to treat sagging skin around the mouth until Elacor came along. This strong new device treats the NLF and Jowls area around the mouth by removing up to 8% of extra skin resulting in scarless skin tightening.
Every patient’s case is different as is yours. In your case, the buckle area is very hollow for whatever the reason, genetic, weight, loss, or buccal fat reduction. By restoring fullness to that area your jowls will come up and look considerably more youthful. This can be achieved by two means which I would prefer: fat, grafting, or Sculptra injections. I hope this helps and good luck from New York City Plastic Surgery.
Thank you for your question and photos. It is a little hard to say without at physical exam. It looks like you are a bit deep in the NLF. This can occur for a few reasons. Your malar fat pad looks like it has become a bit smaller and has moved downward. Sometimes augmentation of the malar...

Based on your description, you may be experiencing facial volume loss, a common sign of aging. However, it's also possible in younger individuals due to genetics, weight loss, or lifestyle choices. Dermal Fillers are injectable treatments that can restore lost volume, smooth out lines, or...
