I am i 19 year old girl with a weak chin that really impacts my confidence would a chin implant help me and how much would this roughly cost?

Thank you for your question and photos. The appearance of a weak chin can be improved through nonsurgical augmentation or the insertion of a chin implant. Nonsurgical augmentation uses a combination of dermal fillers and collagen stimulators to add volume to the chin and create a stronger jawline.
A custom-fit chin implant can also improve the appearance of a weak chin and side profile while balancing the facial proportions. Injectable treatment can last for up to 18 months or more, while chin implants are permanent unless they are removed at a later time. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon or injector who can assess your concerns and suggest the best course of action.

It sounds like you are a good candidate for a genioplasty. This is a permanent procedure that allows us to pretty much put your chin in whatever position you like. It would add length to your jawline, projection to your chin and help to balance out your profile. I recommend it over an implant for several reasons, but I suggest you do some research into what a genioplasty is!

A formal evaluation would be needed to determine what's best. Many of my patients try to avoid surgery, so we perform a non-surgical chin augmentation treatment with injectable fillers. Fillers like Radiesse, Voluma, BellaFill as well as Sculptra are injected into the area, improving the overall appearance of the lower face and balancing the jaw and lip harmony. Yes, a chin implant may be perfect for you.  It can be done right in the office in just a few minutes and you can walk right out.
A sliding genioplasty is another way to go, but requires you to go to the operating room.
