Butt implant complications. Can I have my implants removed and have a BBL performed at the same time?

Allow me to answer your question as best i can based upon your long-term “after” photos. However, please keep in mind that an in-person, or at least a virtual, consultation with physical exam is first necessary before any legitimate evaluation or final surgical recommendations can be made.

First, it would be extremely helpful to see some “before” photos and some ~ 6 - 12 month post-op “after” photos. Typically, buttock implants properly placed completely within the muscle (a.k.a. 100 % intramuscular) do not simply or magically could “come out of the pocket”. An in person physical exam, and/or MRI scan, can better reveal and determine whether your implants are currently intramuscular or not. If your implants are not currently intramuscular then the best solution is usually to remove them and replace new implants into the intramuscular pocket.

Secondly, BBL at the same time as removal of buttock implants is surely going to yield disappointing results with minimal volume/projection add and lack of proper anatomic buttock contour. Additionally, delayed BBL will likely yield not much better results.

Personally, I recommend having explantation first then consider fat transfer once you’re well healed first from the removal of your implants.
Each provider will have their own recommendations so I suggest having multiple consultations with plastic surgeons in your community.
