Thank you for this question! The healing process after rhinoplasty can take a long time. This is dependent on the type of rhinoplasty you had done, and how fast you heal from prior surgeries. In general, 6 months after surgery is well within the healing window. In our experience, healing can take up to 1 year to 18 months after rhinoplasty. If the bulbous-ness persists after that time frame, speak with your surgeon about any further recommended procedures to address it.

Full recovery from rhinoplasty can take up to 12-18 months. I don't think you should jump into a revision surgery less then one year after your original procedure. You should have a conversation with your surgeon about some things that could be done in the meantime to manage the swelling in and above your tip that is commonly known as polly beak. Perfect nostril symmetry is not easy to achieve as it also depends on whether procedure was done via open or closed approach and preoperative shape of your nostrils.
