Does it make sense to have a breast lift before having kids? (Photos)

Hi all, I am 33 and still single but would like kids in the next few years. At the same time, I really do want a breast lift, and I believe it will give me more confidence and is something I've considered for a while. Is it silly to do this before kids?

It certainly isn't silly. The decision to get a breast lift and when it should be done is completely up to you. If you believe that a breast lift is something that is going to give you more confidence and increase your quality of life, then you should consider it. Keeping your desire to have children in mind, your surgeon will make every effort possible to preserve the blood flow, nerves, and ducts leading the areolas. That will give you the best chance of being able to breastfeed in the future.
Alternatively, waiting until after pregnancy (or never having surgery) isn't wrong either.
With pregnancies and/or breastfeeding, you will experience engorgement of the native breast tissue and stretching of the skin. Assuming you have a breast lift performed before pregnancy, it's almost impossible to determine how much that process with affect the aesthetic results of your breast life. If you wait until after pregnancy and breastfeeding, your surgeon will have a better sense of how much your breasts have changed and then work on achieving a better aesthetic result from that starting point.

This is a very personal decision. Your breasts undergo significant change during and after pregnancy. A breast lift before kids may result in an unpredictable appearance after kids.
