Is BBL without tummy tuck after extreme weight loss a bad idea? (photos)

Thank you for your question. I perform many BBL & tummy tuck combo procedures at my practice. But, if you're considering having the procedures done individually, then it makes sense to do the tummy tuck first. Then 4-5 months later, a BBL can be performed. The reason being that if you have significant excess skin and you get liposuction in that area, the area will look wrinkled, scarred, and irregular. Also doing significant liposuction on the abdomen and then having a tummy tuck later can predispose you to wound healing complications after the tummy tuck. I would suggest to be treated by board certified plastic surgeon with experience in this procedure, to get the best desired results.

based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a TT. Full tummy tuck should tighten your abdominal muscles and remove the excess skin. Flanks liposuction would give you a better shape. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

You never spoke to me! I usually allow a discussion with each person/case to see the desires and which surgery as first works best. In your case, of course, I agree the lipo360/BBL first is the plan. Then after 4-6 months healing a full TT.

Currently I don’t think you are a great candidate for a BBL. The primary reason has to do with skin laxity and I think he will do better getting well done tummy tuck first.
