Would I benefit from Bodytite or should I consider an arm lift? (photos)

I’ve always had disproportionately larger arms and batwings, although I’m at a bmi of 22. Im hesitant to get a full arm lift because of the scars and how they would heal on darker skin, but I’m not sure if I would be a candidate for options like bodytite (with liposuction) or perhaps a smaller crescent scar. Would bodytite be sufficient with how flabby my arms currently are?

In your case, I would suggest you save your money and NOT have BodyTite.  I do not think BodyTite will help your arms at all.  Also, I would NOT suggest the crescent arm lift either.  Your arm results will be suboptimal.

Since you have significant skin laxity and excess fat in the upper arms, arm lift surgery may be the better option. While the procedure is more invasive than BodyTite, it can produce more dramatic results and create a more significant change in the appearance of the arms. Another option to consider is VASER HI DEF arm liposuction.  VASER HI DEF arm liposuction can get you toned, skinny arms.

It's important to note that both procedures have risks and potential complications, including infection, bleeding, and scarring. It's important to discuss the risks and benefits of each procedure with a qualified plastic surgeon to determine which option is right for you.

Without in person evaluation to asses your skin tone/elasticity, I would be inclined to say that both liposuction with skin tightening and skin excsion (arm lift) may be needed? You may start with lipo/tighteinig and wait 6-8 months to see result? Good luck.

Dear Nayeonsbarb, Be warned that anything that only treats fat from the outside of your body is a waste of your money. You would be a great candidate for Vaser or Bodytite liposuction. Both techniques melt the fat and stimulate the collagen in your skin to cause better contraction. As long as you don't have stretch marks, it's the best option out there (IMO)!  I have had tremendous success with Vaser liposuction in my practice with patients such as yourself. Downtime is minimal, and discomfort is minimal. Good Luck!!

I would suggest liposuction with Bodytite or Renuvion to treat your arms. The scars are few and small and it should work well for you. an examination is needed to be certain.

Choosing the right procedure will be influenced by your goals for surgery.  You will likely have some improvement with BodyTite but may still have loose skin.  An arm lift does have its drawbacks with the scars but will give you a more dramatic result.

i would try liposuction first.  A brachioplasty will put a scar on your arm that you may not like.
