Can I use "colored hair thickener" after FUE hair transplant? I'm 5 weeks post OP.

I'm 5 weeks post OP after my fue hair transplant. I wonder if it's safe to use "colored hair spray" after the operation. My doctor said that I would not effect the regrowth if I wash the "spots" gently after I've use the product. I want some more opinions before I start using it therefore the question. Maybe someone here has some experience about it.

If you have concerns of post operative care, always ask your doctor.  After a month you can probably use any products for your hair.

Just make sure your skin is not becoming irritated by the product. Irritated skin and fresh hair transplants do not go well together.

There are no issues using camouflaging sprays/ products at 5 weeks post transplant. All regular routines are a 'go'.

You can return to your normal routine in four weeks after hair transplant, that includes using sprays to camouflage the transplanted areas.  However it is always a good idea to check with your doctor first.

Many people use various fibers, powders, sprays, and make-up products to thicken the hair and/or camouflage the scalp after a hair transplant. These products are generally safe to use after the first 5-7 days.
