I removed my buccal fat pads at age 32, and now that I'm 45, my cheeks are more wrinkled than other areas of my face. How effective is facial fat transfer for restoring a youthful appearance?

2 months is enough time to do fat transfer to the face after rhinoplsty; perhaps even earlier. The swelling in the cheeks should be pretty much gone by then.

A will done facial fat transfer should last about 5 years. You will see aging and some fat loss at 3 years so doing another transfer seems reasonable especially in light of the photos you submitted.

A well done fat transfer should last about 5 years. If you feel it hasn't then I'd request your before and after photos and that would show the results.
