Hello, thank you for your question. There is not contradictions between contrast and Botox. However I recommend you to consult with your injector and/or PCP.
There should not be any interaction between Botox and MRI contrast, so in my opinion, it would be fine to have Botox on the same day as an MRI with contrast.
Thank you for sharing your question. There should not be any issue with you receiving Botox the same day as your MRI. Hope this helps.
Hello and thank you for your question. Botox can be done the same day as the MRI. We advise not to lay completely flat for 2 hours after getting botox. Good luck to you!
There should not be any issue having an MRI with contrast in the morning and then having Botox later in the afternoon. Speak with your injector just to be sure.
Hello and thank you for your question. I don't think there should by an issue however, I would recommend talking to your doctor that ordered the MRI and get his/her opinion. Best of luck to you.Dr. T
Hello. Thank you for your question. Having contrast from your MRI will not affect the Botox. The only thing that you need to worry about is taking an antibiotic. That will make the Botox not take.
Can not tell why you are having an MRI. Is it because of neurological problem? MRI of the brain? Then you should not do Botox till the neurological issue is resolved. If it is MRi of your knee, Hip, then it does not be an issue. A complete history and physical exam is mandatory before Botox treatment. This is not something you do in a non medical, by non other but a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, Not a Medical spa with an injector that does not have the proper medical and training back ground. nurse, injector, dentist, internist or what ever
Hello and thank you for your question. From your question we can advise here but nothing would compare to a face to face consultation in clinic for an accurate plan of what would work best. There is no reason why you couldn't have it after an MRI with contrast but the question may be why not wait a few days for botox as an elective procedure? Hope this helps, Best wishes
Botox on the same day as an MRI, even with contrast, should not be a problem. I would, however, check with your injected for to make sure he or she has no problem with it.
I recommend fillers to soften the nasolabial folds themselves and also lift around the mouth and cheeks to build underlying anatomical support. In our practice we combine Sculptra with other fillers "layered" on top and lasers, skin tightening treatments such as Thermage, Fractora, and Renuvion...
Hi, this is commonly seen in certain patients. I would suggest Botox to the upper frontalis to soften this appearance. Please consult a medical practitioner for a face to face assessment. Kind regards, Dr Ana. Kat & Co Aesthetics
Yes Botox can be used to minimize nasal flaring. The treatment is done in the office with results lasting for approximately 3 to 4 months. I've included a video I hope you find helpful.
