Having a tummy tuck, should I have breast implants too?

Both surgeries can be safely performed together.  Breast symmetry procedures are truly challenging, but your plastic surgeon should have no issue with it if he/she has offered to perform the procedure for you.  The breasts may seem larger after your tummy tuck because the tummy will seem smaller in comparison.  This is a personal decision.  You should communicate with your doctor for further guidance.  Good luck and be safe.John T. If the answer is yes than a breast augmentation with unilateral lift  can accomplish this.  Combining breast surgery with a tummy tuck with possible liposuction (mommy makeover", can can reduce some of the fees compared with doing them separately.  However, If you are happy with your breasts, just do the yummy tuck .  Ultimately it's your decision.

While it is perfectly safe and very common to combine a tummy tuck with breast surgery, the decision to proceed is ultimately up to you and is dependent upon how you feel about the way your breasts appear.  I would consult a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and explore your options then make an informed decision.Best of luck,

It is very common for patients to do more than one procedure at the same time. It does save money, it is only 1 recovery and you can have an overall improvement of the whole body. Breasts can look bigger after a tummy tuck as the stomach will then be flat giving the illusion of larger breasts. 

Breast augmentation is often performed at the same time as a tummy tuck. This combination is also known as a "a mommy makeover". A tummy tuck will often make your breasts appear larger. The question of wether to have both procedures or not is personal. Medically it is safe to combine them.

Dear Lovemyself,Indeed, the breast lift and augmentation surgery can be very complex, especially with asymmetry.  Certainly if you plastic surgeon is board certified you should be in good hands.  If you get implants and the mastopexy your breasts will be larger, more symmetrically and lifted. Cosmetic surgeries can certainly be combined and often are.  However, just because they can be combined does not necessarily mean they should be combined. The question of when to combine procedures and what procedures to combine should be a collaborative exercise between the patient ant the surgeon. Find yourself an ethical and safe board certified plastic surgeon and I'm sure you will be fine.

A tummy tuck can be done as a solitary procedure. Many times the results are enhanced by adding
liposuction to the hip and love handle area.
A tummy tuck is also done in combination with a breast augmentation in a
mommy makeover.

Certainly you are in a dilemma. Sometimes these decisions are tough because if you have them both at the same time you will likely save money and recovery time in the end. I doubt you will think your breasts look much bigger with a TT. Implants and a lift at the same time is a little trickier but in my opinion still better than doing them separately. Tough decision.
