Dr. Leber is a great listener and with excellent bedside manner. I got my rhinoplasty with him a few months ago and it looks incredible and very natural. He did exactly what I requested and did it masterfully - it's one of the better decisions I've made in life. So happy I went with him!
Dr.Leber did a phenomenal job on my tummy. After 4 pregnancies (the last of which was twins), my abdominal muscles were significantly separated, skin was lax and lots of stretch marks. I was uncomfortable and looked 7m pregnant. Many women who go for a tummy tuck, pair it with lipo, but Dr. Leber was confident that my results would be spectacular even without lipo- so glad I listened! You can see the pics for yourself and see how amazing it turned out (not to mention the cute belly button!). Before choosing Dr. Leber, i did a lot of research and looked at pictures both in Massachusetts and outside, and his work is simply amazing. I had a complication after surgery (things can happen in a major surgery) , but it is all resolved now. Dr. Leber was supportive and communicated with me promptly by phone and saw me multiple times in his office to help me with the issue. I always felt like I'm in great hands. Pics are at the 2 month mark and now at 3 months it just keeps looking better. I couldn't be happier with how I look and feel and I I'm forever grateful to Dr. Leber for what he did.
I will be using this platform to journal my experience, including before and after pics at various stages of recovery, to hopefully maximize the usefulness of my post for others considering this procedure and/ or my selected PS. Due to 80 lb weight loss in 2010, I have had an issue with lax skin, To date, I have had a tummy tuck, breast lift w/augmentation, and facelift. I have wasted tons of money on skin tightening procedures on my butt and thighs, without any results on my butt and limited improvement on my thighs . I have tried just about everything to include rounds upon rounds of emsculpt and I am really tired of my butt "resting" on my thighs. I researched doctors and shortlisted 4 doctors to evaluate via consultation. In developing my shortlist, I made sure that the doctors had enough examples of buttock lift - not BBL - not implants . Some doctors advertise that they perform body lift procedures , but aside from tummy tucks and breast lifts, but have no or few cases within their online galleries. I ended up selecting Dr. Leber due to his very impressive results gallery performing the exact procedure I desire along with the most thorough consultation which clearly demonstrated his knowledge, competence, commitment to his patients. He answered my many questions with GENUINE kindness, patience and went the distance to make sure I had a level of comfort with the procedure. Additionally, Ashleigh from office staff is AMAZING... she is incredibly professional, knowledgeable, super responsive. She spent a considerable amount of time on phone prior to my consult and following, responding to my many questions. I can not say enough great things about Ashleigh and the rest of Dr.Leber's office staff and they are so important in this process as anyone who has previously had PS can attest. I have my clearance for surgery and m pre-op appointment on March 1st and will post some before pics then :) Updated on 6 Mar 2023: Here Is a before pic . Also I updated cost to just doc fee. Updated on 19 Mar 2023: Oh my goodness. I can’t say enough good things about Dr.Leber, his staff and McCormick Ranch Surgery center. Still feeling a little rough, so I will write more later. But so excited about fabulous results Updated on 25 Mar 2023: Updated on 7 Apr 2023:
I am a surgeon myself in a different speciality in Boston and when I was looking to have multiple procedures done (TT, Lipo, breast augmentation) I was absolutely thorough in finding a plastic surgeon who was the consummate professional not just in terms of bedside manner but importantly in surgical skill, preop and post op care. I will say with absolute certainty you simply cannot find a better surgeon than Dr Leber. This surgeon is technically masterful with years of experience under his belt, solid training and a kindness that is rare to find in someone who is so accomplished. His surgical staff in Boston, as well as the team who operated (anesthesia included), are top of the line and my results are stunning. I literally cannot the believe the magical change in my appearance Dr Leber was able to accomplish. I plan to leave this review everywhere I can to make it very clear that if you have any hesitation at all do not worry as Dr Leber is the very very VERY best and you should see him with confidence that you are getting a highly skilled, safe, smart and just wonderful surgeon
Dr. Leber is a remarkable surgeon! I'm so thankful that Dr. Leber has an office in Boston. After doing extensive research for one of the best surgeons in the area I am very happy I scheduled an appointment with Dr Leber for a rhinoplasty and upper lip lift procedure. If I could give ten stars I would, Dr. Leber is the best!! He takes the time to answer all your questions and concerns, is very thorough from first consult to post-op, and is very caring and compassionate, he put me at ease right away!Dr. Leber has shown an extraordinary care even after the procedure for any questions or follow up appointment(s) as requested. Communications and interactions with Dr. Leber and his staff, pre and post surgery were consistently supportive and compassionate.I couldn't have asked for a better surgeon. I absolutely recommend Dr. Leber.
Dr. Leber and his team have been a pleasure to work with! Recently I had a rhinoplasty revision at his Boston office and only 5 weeks post-op I am elated at the results that I already see! I would highly recommend Dr. Leber and his team!
My breasts, from the day they grew, were severely asymmetrical. And not in a nice way, in a droopy, tuberous way. Then came two massive kids, and a nearly 100 lb weight loss. My skin was done for. 16 months after my son was born I had my mommy makeover and though I am only two days out from surgery I can tell you this is the best thing I've ever done or myself. Dr. Leber was a dream to work with, he listened carefully to my wants and adjusted his approach as I expressed different needs. His staff were lovely and the surgery center staff from the nurses to CNAs were so kind. I never dreamed I'd have this body, and I feel like this has forever changed my life. Thank you Dr. Leber and his team! Updated on 17 Oct 2019: Whooooaaaaa. Size six pre-op.... size TWO now!!!
Dr. Leber gave me my life back! I have two beautiful babies, but post pregnancy I had developed severe diastisis recti and a river of extra skin! Thank goodness I found him! I went to another doctor who was scoffing at me asking if I could ever achieve a six pack post op from a tummy tuck. He said it wouldn’t look the same!?! I was discouraged but kept looking. When I found dr leber I knew he was the doctor for me! I literally looked all over the country in search of a natural/normal looking belly. He was confident, assuring, and eager to help me! I was so excited and nervous but, with the help of his staff who were very responsive to all my questions along the way, I overcame my fear of surgery and moved forward. I would do it all over again! It was worth every penny and what seemed like endless hours of searching for the right doctor. I am back to normal and restored! I have a perfect belly button and tiny waist. And bonus is, after working out again, I am up to a four pack! So I’m getting there! Thank you dr. Leber for piecing me back together physically but it also restored me emotionally! Updated on 3 Sep 2020: Here are a few more photos requested. Keep in mind that I was active before and after surgery. My scar is pretty light now. I am still extremely happy with my results! I think it’s important to have realistic expectations going into surgery. Everyone’s body and fitness level is different and it’s important to understand that results may very based on that and how you heal. BUT I am so pleased! My results are better than expected! I wish you all the best on your TT journey! I wrote down all my questions, even if they seemed silly, and brought them up to dr. Leber. He was very honest with what to expect and I appreciated that.
I came across Dr. Leber about three years go when I was researching a surgeon to fix my previous breast augmentation surgeries. Traveling from outside the US after having a e mail exchange with Dr. Leber’s fabulous patient coordinator Ashleigh and a phone conversation with the man himself , I could have not been more happy with the outcome of my breast revision surgery. So I decided to go back for a face and neck lift and upper and lower Bleph with fat grafts. The results are everything I had hoped for! Dr.Leber makes sure to listen to you and to understand what you are trying to achieve. I was very worried that I didn’t want to look like I “had work done”. And I can happily say, I just look like me -but better. Dr. Leber is extremely skilled surgeon, his office staff are all very professional and very well trained. I can not recommend him highly enough and he is well worth the + 15 hour flight I have to take to get to Scottsdale .
Hi! So I've finally made the decision to get rid of my fat face (been looking into this since my early 20's, I'm now 32.) I've always been a relatively smaller girl, (fluctuating from a size 6 to 10 throughout the years.) And I've always felt like my face makes me appear 10lbs heavier than I actually am. I CRINGE and die a little inside when I see photos taken of myself where I wasn't looking or prepared for it. It literally ruins my day. So I'm super excited (but also pretty nervous) to FINALLY get this done! Updated on 8 Jan 2019: Just had my pre-op appointment yesterday with Dr. Leber. I went into it feeling very nervous and anxious (I tend to focus on all of the worst case scenarios) and have been going back and forth with the "Do I REALLY need this?" "What am I doing?!" And Dr. Leber alleviated all those fears. He was kind, confident, supportive, and gave me his cell number so I could text him at any time if I had any new questions or concerns I want to address with him. He answered all of my questions thoroughly, and walked me through the whole procedure. I walked into the appointment feeling scared and unsure of the whole thing, and I walked out feeling very excited and ready! Updated on 10 Jan 2019: Ahhh so excited and nervous! I'm anxious to get this over with and into recovery. I wanted to add some more before photos too. (Ugh can't stand looking at them, so embarrassing.) Can't wait to see the after pics! One thing I keep thinking about though is how my doctor instructed me to wear the head garment 24/7 for only the first 4 days, and I'm reading from everyone on here that they had to wear it for 2 weeks. I told him that too, and he assured me that the 4 days will be enough but I can wear it longer if it makes me feel more comfortable. It would be awesome if only the 4 days is needed! Fingers crossed Updated on 12 Jan 2019: All done and on my way home! I’m blown away at how quick the whole thing was. Here’s the breakdown: 1. Took an oxy and a Valium 20 min prior to help with pain and anxiety, which was definitely helpful. 2. Sat down in the chair and Dr. Leber marked my neck of the areas he was going to work on. 3. He then gave me the numbing shots. I’m pretty good with needles so this didn’t bother me toooo much. Just your normal needle pinching. I was probably stuck about 8 times or so. Some people said this burned, but I didn’t feel any burning sensation. 4. We waited about 5 min for the numbing to kick in. Then he made the incision (didn’t feel it at all.) and then he injected the saline/lidocaine solution. THIS was the part I didn’t like the most. I felt my whole chin/neck area blow up like a balloon, it felt like a football was inserted in there haha. It wasn’t painful, just uncomfortable. We sat and waited 10 min with this. 5. Then then sucking began. Didn’t feel a thing. A little pressure, but this was a piece of cake compared to the saline solution. He inserted the canula and slowly went back and forth inside my chin for about 8 min. 8 min that’s it! And I was done 6. He put the chin strap on and sent me on my way. I’m in no pain at all at the moment. Gonna go home and ice and rest up. Can’t wait to take this off in 24 hours to get a look! So crazy, still can’t believe I did this and it’s already over with! Updated on 13 Jan 2019: I posted this yesterday but for some reason it didn’t post? Anyway - overall I felt pretty good, definitely more sore than the day before. Sleeping has been tough, as I’m never a back sleeper and then adding the elevation makes it even harder. I probably got like 2 hours total the first night. So I’m just trying to nap during the day to make up for it. Also, I’m really glad I made a bunch of smoothies and froze them beforehand since chewing isn’t an option yet! I took the compression garment off and I am SO happy with what I’m seeing! Still swollen, but I know it’s only going to get better! Yay! Updated on 15 Jan 2019: Not much new to update, still feeling great! Everyone was totally right though with this compression wrap.. going to try and stick it out for 4 more days of wearing it all day and all night (although it keeps falling off during the night, so annoying!) And then I’m going to switch to only wearing it during the day (I work alone in an office with my boyfriend so wearing it to work isn’t an issue.) I just need to sleep again! I hope I see more of a difference as time goes on. Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy with my results so far but everyone else’s on this site seems to have a more drastic difference at this point. I know it’s still early and I’m still swollen, so I’m trying to stay positive! Updated on 17 Jan 2019: Woke up very swollen today. Looks like I didn’t even get it done :( I know I have to be patient and that it will go back down, I just want to look like I did 24 hrs later! I am pretty happy though that I’ve had no bruising whatsoever. I think all of the fruit and veggie smoothies I made the 2 weeks prior really helped with that. Updated on 18 Jan 2019: Muuuuch better :) I slept elevated last night so I’m guessing that has something to do with how swollen I am the next morning. I can’t wait for my 1 week follow up appointment tomorrow to see what my doctor says and see his before and after pics. Overall I’m very happy with the ease of the whole thing, the care of Dr. Leber, and obviously the outcome. Being as nervous as I was before just seems silly now haha. Like everyone else here has said... wish I’ve done it sooner! I’ll probably wait a month before posting another update, but if anyone is thinking about getting this done, please feel free to contact me with any questions! I’ll be happy to be your cheerleader haha :) Updated on 14 Feb 2019: Quick update! It’s been a little more than a month. I’m still massage 2-4x daily. No banding or hard lumps. Looking better each day and I know it’s still going to get better in the next couple months :)
Numbness of the skin on the breast under the areola is not uncommon after breast augmentation. This is usually a temporary phenominon that results from tissue swelling and induration arround the nerve that supplies this area. The lateral intercostal nerves supply sensation to the breast skin in the region that you are describing. These nerves exit the lateral chest wall to intervate overlying skin and the breast implant may place tension on the nerve. Hypersensitivity of the skin is most commonly decribed as a result of this added tension on the nerve. This is a good sign as the nerve is intact but overly stimulated. Hypersensitivity usually resolves within 6-12 weeks after surgery. Hyposensitivity or lack of sensation also may result from streching the nerve. This may cause a temporary numbness in the lower pole of the breast. The nerve function typically returns to normal over time, however this may take 6-12 months. Tingling sensation (pins and needles) may occur as the nerve recovers. This is a good sign. Very large implants have a higher chance of streching these nerves potentially leading to permanent numbness.
It appears that you have laxity of your abdominal wall above your belly button. A mini tummy tuck only tightens the lower abdomen and could potentially make a weak upper abdomen bulge even more. A full tummy tuck tightens both the upper and lower abdominal wall allowing better contouring along with removal of more redundant skin. the scar can be hidden below your bikini line and is often only inches longer than a mini tummy tuck scar. A natural appearing belly button can be maintained with careful attention to detail at the time of surgery. A mini tummy tuck often makes the belly button position too low on the abdominal wall as it is stretched to a lower position rather than being re-inset to its natural position as with a full tummy tuck.
Your breasts have a high medial inframammary crease with mild glandular ptosis however they do not appear tuberous. The upper pole also is deflated which can occur after breast feeding or following weight loss. When the breast is deflated and not heavy or dense, an implant alone will achieve some degree of breast lift often making a lift unnecessary. I prefer a sub-pectoral implant position and sometimes I will slightly release the lateral boarder of the pectorals muscle from its attachments to the overlying breast tissue. This creates a "dual plane" allowing the lower portion of the breast to further expand over the underlying implant. Additionally, your nipple is forward pointing and is above your inframammary crease. These features are favorable for a natural post operative outcome after breast augmentation alone.
