Great question.... my patients ask me this all of the time- right now I am using mostly Juvederm Vobella for lip lines, but will sometimes also use Restylane Silk. I will also add some botox or dysport to lengthen the life of the filler. You can typically except the filler to last 6 months- 1 year (maybe longer if you keep up with the botox). It all depends on how quickly your body breaks down the material. Hope this helps.
Belotero is one of the lightest dermal fillersavailable. Sometimes called the “starter filler,” it is ideal for someonewho wants to reduce fine lines around the lips, corners of the mouth, and minormarionette lines (the lines from the corners of your mouth down toward yourjawline). It last up to 12 months in most of the patients.
In our office we tell our patients that it lasts for about 6 months. This filler does not last as longer as it is a thinner product that can be placed in areas of thin skin and high movement. It does not leave behind lumps or bumps that some thick fillers can. I recommend that you check with your board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon with cosmetic training to open up dialogue about future treatment.
Thank you for your question. There are various products within the Belotero range which vary depending on thickness.Typically you will be looking at 6-12 months depending on the product.
Belotero can last 6-8 months. Lip lines can also be improved with Botox. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Belotero, like most hyaluronic acid fillers generally can last 12 months. However this can vary per person and per area. For example, in my experience, it tends to last longer when injected around the eyes, and shorter when injected in and around the lips.
On average, 4-6 months. Typically, an injector should use Belotero Balance to fill fine lip lines. This filler is a relatively thin filler, which allows it to be placed quite superficially in the tissue while still integrating nicely and smoothly. However, due to this feature, it won’t last as long as some of the other thicker fillers. A thick filler would not be appropriate to use to fill fine, superficial lines because it would be too hard and you would feel lumps in the skin. Filler is metabolized by the body and the speed at which it wears off is in part related to the movement in the area. Lips are often moving, talking, eating, ect. So filler in the lips and around the mouth doesn’t last as long as filler, say, in the cheeks, for example. One way to potentially extend the life of filler in lip lines would be to also get a neuromodulator (Botox, Xeomin) in the upper lip. This temporarily reduces the muscle movement in the area and thus might extend the life of the filler a bit. This also helps to give a bit more pink showing on the upper lip which is great if you have a thin upper lip.
Belotero is a nice injection for fine lines. Because it is a fine filler of hyaluronic acid it generally doesn't last more than six months. Volbella is another alternative for find lines and usually lasts a little longer which may be up to one year. Please consult an expert in lip injections for the best cosmetic results. Best, Dr. Green
Belotero Balance is an excellent mid consistency hyaluronic acid filler. With it's competitive pricepoint it is one of our most commonly purchased fillers. In the lips, we typically see 7-8 months duration. I have had clients to get as much as 12 months out of their Belotero. I recommend that my clients schedule their retreatment at 6 months to maintain their results.
Thank you for your question. Typically, Belotero injections last for 6 months. Please make sure you get a in person consultation from a board-certified dermatologist.
Thank you for your inquiry. Happy to hear you had no swelling! Typically 1 - 2 syringes is required depending on volume loss. Wait two weeks and follow up with your injector.
"A formal evaluation would be needed to determine what's best. Many of my patients try to avoid surgery, so we perform a non-surgical chin augmentation treatment with injectable fillers. Fillers like Radiesse, Voluma, BellaFill as well as Sculptra are injected into the area, improving the...
