You are correct that BBLs are less common in males. In my practice, about 15% of my BBLs are on men. This may not seem like a lot of cases, but I have done over 5000 BBLs since 2007.....so you do the math ;)

But seriously, you are doing the right thing in finding a BBL expert that is also an expert in men. The procedure is just different. There is a different anatomy, different fat quality, and usually different desires. So, yes, look for male BBL before and afters. Just keep in mind that men tend to be more private about their surgeries, so they are less likely to give written permission allowing their photos to be posted. This applies to BBLs and all other plastic surgeries on men.

The goal of the male buttocks augmentation is to give the appearance of a larger and stronger gluteus maximus and gluteus medius. Unlike women who frequently desire a softer, rounder buttocks, men usually desire a more square and stronger appearance. I've achieved this by injecting the fat into the muscle of the buttocks instead of the fattier areas. This can be safely achieved using a technique I pioneered called ultrasound grafted fat augmentation technique or UGFAT. This approach allows me to safely transfer fat into the buttocks, obtaining a more masculine aesthetic.
