I cut my hair with an electric clipper number 1 after 7 months after FUE 5000. Is this normal or harming my hair growth?

You can cut your hair any way you like after your wound has healed.  Since you are 7 months out, there should be no issue.

I ask patients to wait 3 weeks after their transplant to use a clippers for a hair on the recipient area. If necessary to cut the hair before then, a gentle scissor cut may work after 2 weeks if the hair stylist is careful not to disturb the grafted area at the base of the graft with the scissor and not pull hard on the shaft of the hair while cutting.

After 2-3 weeks, depending how long it takes for the small crust around the grafts to fall off is about as long as it takes after the procedure to go back to normal hair cutting.  After 7 months there isn't anything you can do to harm the grafts.

No,  it will not harm  to  your transplanted hair to  use electric hair clipper for cutting no  1 .  I allow buzz cut to my  patients after 5 weeks of HT. 

At 7 months post op you should have no problem using a clipper number 1. This should not affect your hair growth. 

You can cut your hair with a clipper once all of the crusts have been off for at least 3 weeks from the date of surgery
