I had a lower facelift and neck lift 4 weeks ago. Would going to the dentist after only 4 weeks be a problem?

Always discuss what you can and can't do after surgery with the surgeon who performed your procedure.  Every surgeon has their own way of performing a facelift as well as their own postoperative preferences.  These postop instructions are usually based on the details of your surgery and your surgeon's previous experiences.

Typically not, but it is best to check with your surgeon before because there may something he or she knows that may have them delay your appointment.I hope this helps.

If you have any pain or tendnerness with mouth opening or head turning, you should probably wait a few more weeks.  However if this does not bother you, you should be fine to undergo the exam.  

     If you are seeing your dentist for a routine cleaning, I would advise waiting at least 6-8 weeks from your face and neck lift.  If you have an urgent dental problem, then check with your surgeon for his/her recommendations and good luck.

Unless you are having dental problems, I would wait 8 to 12 weeks before seeing the dentist.  Check in with your surgeon for his recommendation.

There is no right answer but instinctively, I would wait for 3 months unless there is a need to see the dentist sooner.
