Question

I had a septorhinoplasty and a turbinate reduction done 8 months ago and I am not happy with the results. My nose doesn’t seem to have changed much and I still feel like there is a blockage in my left nostril. I thought the bridge of my nose would be narrower and more defined.

Appears you need a revision rhinoplasty septaloplasty. Best to seek only in person second opinions from boarded surgeons. Fees in the $12,000-$20,000 ranges.

Couple of questions. Did your surgeon perform osteotomies (narrow the bones). If not, this could help explain why there is persistent width to the upper 1/3 and the middle 1/3. Has the surgeon recommended any steroid injection for the tip swelling? If so, I would recommend steroid being used yo try yo shrink wrap the skin somewhat. If it hasn’t been recommended, I’d ask the surgeon to consider doing so. Massage of the nose +/- taping at night can also help if this has not already been done and if, in fact, this is prolonged swelling

From your preoperative photo, I note a flat broad nasal tip and a broad nasal base. Your postoperative photo demonstrates improvement in nasal tip definition. The nasal base has been narrowed. There is extremely minimal outward projection of the left nasal bone (but photographs can be deceiving, especially with limited views).
The surgical result appears satisfactory, although you still have breathing difficulties. An endonasal examination is required to determine if there is physical blockage or swelling due to allergy. 
If concerned, speak candidly with your plastic surgeon about the reasons for dissatisfaction.
