Can you do light cardio exercise post gynecomastia surgery?

My surgeon said to avoid the gym for about a month and to not lift anything over 10 lbs, but I'm wondering if I can do light exercises like stationary bike or walking on a treadmill with an incline after 2 weeks post op? I wouldn't be doing anything too strenuous, just want to help maintain the weight that I lost before surgery, and to not be so sedentary while I heal
