Posted on here 6 months ago about gyno progression. I'm 30 and it's been progressing for a good year. Always keep fit and trained. And it's still getting worse. Just can't work out why. Been doctors 4 times about it. Pointless as they just say nothing. It's starting to happen in my left side now and right getting worse. Could it be diet. Don't really know Wat to do next
Answer: Gyno Thank you for sharing your question and I am sorry to hear of your gynecomastia progression. I would advocate seeing a board certified plastic surgeon in consultation to discuss what may be taking place. Unless you have certain risk factors, such as steroid use, development of gynecomastia in one's 30's is not common and may indicate the need for a hormone/endocrine workup. If you have had the gynecomastia since adolescence but has only recently worsened in appearance it may be that reduction in the chest soft tissues through diet and exercise is making the gynecomastia more noticeable. Hope this helps.

Answer: Gynaecomastia and diet Thanks for your question. Gynaecomastia is very unlikely to be related to diet. However there is an association with certain medications and supplements. There are a few rare diseases that can also cause gynaecomastia, such as testicular tumours. However ideopathic (=cause unknown) is by far and away the commonst cause.

Answer: Gynecomastia at 30 30 is not a common age for gynecomastia. It tends to hit younger or older. I would suggest that you see your interest for a complete work up and proceed from there. Best of luck.

Answer: Gynecomastia keeps getting worse. What to do? Gynecomastia most commonly results from residual tissue since puberty. Then comes the hormones/prohormone group, medications and so on. If you are truly getting larger over six months I would visit with an endocrinologist. If you are doing well medically with no known reason for developing gynecomastia I would seek out treatment. If all the tissue is removed it will solve the appearance problem, the pain and it won't come back. It's important that your doctors make sure that there is no medical cause/medication issue.
