Without pictures, it is hard to indentify the best course of action. Take note that there are myriad techniques to improve the appearance of scars, with the right one depending on the type of scar one has--e.g., keloids, hypertrophic scars, dark marks, etc.

Scar tissue can form anytime after surgery, usually at 4 to 12 weeks. Scar tissue will feel like breast tissue and causes alarm for many men. Most of the time it will resolve on it's own or steroid injections may be given to help dissolve it. Talk to your surgeon. Good luck.
