I have my consultation with my surgeon in around 2 weeks time. Im 21 now but when I was younger I had about a 2 cup size difference in each breast. What was the larger breast has a very spread and not defined areola and the smaller breast isn't as big but also not defined. I was wondering if I would be able to get the implants and a reduction in the one procedure, if it would cost a lot more and if it would change the incision site for the implants or anything else about my procedure.

Answer: Implant with areolar reduction The answer is generally yes, these procedures can and often are combined. If you already think you areola and nipples are too large, they will be somewhat larger after implants are placed to enlarge the breasts and you should probably consider having it addressed at the time of augmentation. There are limitations, however so you will need to consult with an experienced ABPS surgeon. You can expect the operation will be more expensive than a simple breast implant procedure.

Answer: Breast implants with areola reduction If there is significant asymmetry of the areola diameter, it is possible in some cases to be able to reduce the diameter of the larger areola. This is not always the case and may depend on the size of the implant that you are using. This places a scar around the areola. You may opt to have your implants placed through the bottom portion of the scar to avoid a second incision in the fold beneath your breast. The cost for this will vary from surgeon to surgeon.
