Answer: What’s going on with my implants? Could I be bottoming out? 7 months post op, Mentor 350 CC - asymmetry and pain (photos) Thank you for sharing your question and photographs. It appears that you have bottoming out of your left implant while the right seems undescended. This is contributing to the size asymmetry between the two breasts and can only be corrected with a surgical revision at this time. Talk to your surgeon to get the best treatment advice.

Answer: What’s going on with my implants? It appears that the position of your implants is not currently symmetrical. The symmetry could be improved by lowering the right implant, raising the left, or both. To determine the underlying cause for the asymmetry and the best way to improve the appearance would require an in person examination. Discuss your options with your surgeon after he or she has had a chance to make a diagnostic evaluation.

Answer: Bottoming out Yes your left breast implant has appeared to settle much more than the right side. You can see that the left breast scar has now ridden up on to the lower pole of the breast. This means that the implant has exerted forces on the left lower pole and stretched it out while the other side may actually have capsular contracture. You need to see a true expert in breast aesthetic surgery; ideally a plastic surgeon with specialized training in this field of aesthetic breast surgery. You unfortunately will likely require a complex revision. I am sorry to share these details with you.

Answer: Breast asymmetry and pain 7 m after BA Pain at this time, unless constant, is not that unusual after breast augmentation. Asymmetry is present, but we do not have preop photos to compare and see how much may have been present before surgery? Capsular contracture as a cause of asymmetry must be considered. Follow up consultation with your surgeon and discussion about surgical options is necessery. Good luck.

Answer: BA results Dear Powerful227605, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.
