I had a boob job a week ago today during the week I noticed a blister now it's very itchy and red where my dressing has been, I have now changed it to a different one will this help? Also I'm still getting some pain more when they are touched is this normal?
Answer: Skin reaction to dressings after breast augmentation. Skin reactions such as describe are usually an allergy to an adhesive in a tape or applied directly to the skin. Treatment is generally avoidance of further adhesive and possibly some steroid ointment. This will be handled by your own plastic surgeon.

Answer: Possible implant infection This actually sounds like it could just be the skin, or it could be quite serious, like you have an implant infection. You should need to be seen by the plastic surgeon.

Answer: Breast augmentation post op, some advices: Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. Some patients developed allergies from the tape or dressing is good for you to tell your plastic surgeon and follow his advices, you can take some antihistamines pills. Also, In my practice, after performing a Breast Agmentation I recommend to my patients to limit the movement of the arms for two weeks. After that, you can move your arms taking care and always with common sense. In this regard, it's not advisable to carry heavy weights to prevent the implant out of position, and allow the formation of the physiological capsule around the implant, also to avoid pain and breast swelling.Respectfully, Dr. Emmanuel Mallol.-
