The short answer is no, your belly button is not supposed to smell eight weeks after a tummy tuck. A foul odor can be indicative of an infection. It might be something minor, such as fluid or bacteria itrapped deep into the umbilicus that's simply needs to be cleaned. It can also indicate a wound infection or something more serious. Sometimes the belly button can be tight and skin cell can get trapped be start to smell. It gets better as you heal but make sure you follow up with your surgeon
