Hello. I had a mini tummy tuck and Vader lipo around 5 days ago. I am recovering well. I am seeing my surgeon again next week to have the dressing removed & wound checked. I am wearing the compression garment as advised 24/7 but this adds to the lower back pain. When I slightly pull the garment forward (as in away from my skin) I can stand straighter and feel relived. Is this normal? Is the garment adding to the strain on my back? Any advice would be welcomed. Thank you

Depending on the scope of the surgery and your pain tolerance, the pain will range from tolerable to extremely painful. Consult with an experienced and expert board certified plastic surgeon to understand your options.
Careful adherence to your surgeons post surgery protocol is very important to allow proper healing and prevent injury. If you think you overdid it and are having pain or symptoms I recommend a follow up visit with your surgeon so they can examine you. Good luck.
Based on the picture you posted it looks like you can benefit from a full tummy tuck with muscle tightening for a flatter abdomen and liposuction of you back and sides for a nicer shape. Consult with a board certified PS,best of luck!
