Is it normal to have a big amounts of dry blood on my donor area? (Photos)

It’s my 4th day after FUE hair transplant (5000) and I Saltillo have a lot on dry blood on my donor area. The doctor didn’t recommend me to use any shampoo for the first 10 days. Is this blood Normal? Any suggestions to clean it?

Daily washing helps prevent the donor and recipient area from forming larger scabs. At this point, maybe using a bacitracin ointment on the donor area for 15 minutes before gentle washing may break up some of the scabs.

You can begin washing 2-3 days after surgery at the donor site.  The site will stay with some oozing for several days.  Clean gently and reapply antibiotic ointment 2-3 times per day for the first 7-10 days.

Although ever Doctor is different, I recommend my patients start washing 2 days after the procedure so the donor area won't have any major scabbing from dried up blood.  You should be washing it daily by now.
