Bruises from Binder being too tight, is it normal? (photos)

The bruising that you see may be from the liposuction rather than wearing your binder too tightly. That said, it is not possible to make that determination without seeing you in person. I recommend that you contact your surgeon to discuss the matter.In choosing a surgeon to perform tummy tuck /
abdominoplasty, it's vital that you select a surgeon who is certified by the
American Board of Plastic Surgery and has extensive experience in body
contouring.

Hi Your bruising is perfectly within normal limits. However to use an abdominal binder 26 /7 for 6 days is never allowed in my clinic.I check on the first morning after the night of surgery and on daily basis and show how tight they should go. Sleepless 6 nights before you post your question means your surgeon came to your town and is not contactable now or you went to him and can not contact him.Please send the same text and the same picture to him and he will be able to guide you.I wish you good luck

Bruising is normal following these types of surgeries. If you notice additional bruising starting to occur, and are experiencing major discomfort from the garment you should loosen your garment until you are able to contact or follow up in person with your PS.
