Bruises from Binder being too tight, is it normal? (photos)

Hi everyone I have done tummy tuck plus Lopo and fat transfer to thighs area and I am now 6 days post op. I have had my binder on 24/7 and the pain is so unbearable. I just noticed today that I had blue bruises around the binder from being too tight Is it normal? Can I loosen it a little bit so I can have a better sleep at night :((

Hello, thanks for the pictures and question. It appears you have a wound but it doesn't appear the bellybutton is splitting. Place some antibacterial ointment on it, such as Neosporin, and see your doctor as soon as he/she is available to take a closer look. Best of luck in healing.
