Neck liposuction is a great option for patients with good skin elasticity and excess fat in the neck and around the jawline. You look like you would be a good candidate for submental liposuction, in my practice this is done with a local anesthetic and is more affordable that way. There is a small incision, that leaves a very minimal scar, usually not noticeable.   Most plastic surgeons accept care credit or something like it, seek a surgeon board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery in your area.  Good luck, Jane.

 First of all, it's important to be at your ideal body weight with a BMI of less than 34, before undergoing cosmetic surgery such as liposuction.  A thorough examination of the neck is required to make a determination about whether or not the fatty deposits are located above the muscle which can be removed by  Liposuction, or a neck lift surgery  which is required to remove the fatty deposits underneath the platysma muscle. When the sub-platysma fat is removed, a platysma-plasty is required. Consider placement of a chin implant to augment the chin forward which will be complementary to the neck work due to a weak and recessive chin profile present.
