Thank you for your question and photos. An evaluation person would be required to properly advise you, however form your photos you appear to have very pretty and well proportioned breasts with minimal sagging or ptosis. If you are convinced that you would be happier being larger breasted, please keep in mind several points. 1. A large breasted woman who is anything but super thin ends up looking more like a "full figured" gal and not every woman likes that idea. 2. The larger your breasts the more difficult you may find it to find proper fitting bras and bathing suits, and may begin encountering interference with sports (running, tennis, golf), and ultimately experience neck, back and shoulder discomfort, the typical symptoms we encounter in women who seek a breast reduction. 3. If you have not had children but are considering getting pregnant in the future, your breasts may enlarge and stay larger, at which point you will be sorry you have implants. It is also true that after one or more pregnancies your breasts may enlarge and then get smaller than pre-pregnancy, at which point implants are often recommended for the "mommy makeover". If you are set on getting implants at present, a board certified plastic surgeon can advise you on size, however it would be important for you to come prepared with photos of women's breasts you find attractive. This would act as an important guide for your surgeon. Finally, if you indeed choose to proceed with undergoing a breast augmentation, consider a Low or Moderate Profile implant with a volume probably not to exceed 350 cc's, perhaps even 200-300. Best of luck to you.
Hi, thank you for sharing your question. You are a great candidate for breast augmentation. The selection of the ideal implant for you is best done in person after an evaluation by a board certified plastic surgeon. A number of measurements are required to find the right implant that matches your individual goals. A dual-plane placement may be a good idea for you. I hope this helps.
Thank you for your question. The specific implant size and shape will be determined after an in-person consultation with a plastic surgeon, because sizing of implants involves taking detailed breast measurements, assessing tissue thickness and skin tone, etc. For patients tho have mild sagging but ample breast tissue (as appears to be the case with your photos) I typically suggest implant placed in front of the muscle (subfascial/subglandular plane), but your surgeon would give advice based on their assessment.
The technique I recommend is a mini lift. Using a circumareola incision, your breast tissue is reshaped, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. At the same time, fat transfers or small implants can be placed totally submuscular.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
Hello, thank you for you question. Usually when patients say the "full round" look we immediately think of High profile type implants. The size of implant is based on how wide your chest wall is. So I would not be able to determine this just on photos. The over and under the muscle depends on the discussion you have with your plastic surgeon. I typically go under the muscle to provide long term support of the implant and less of a risk of capsular contracture. thank you
Thank you for your question and photographs, and it appears that you will have a very nice result. Breast implant selection is an exciting, but stressful part of the breast augmentation process as there are so many choices. Unfortunately it is impossible to recommend the best implant style, size or shape without an in-person examination that allows for the measurement of key breast parameters, as well as permits an in-depth discussion as to your desired goals and outcome. I would recommend continuing to discuss your concerns with your plastic surgeon or seek additional consultations to ensure that the implants you decide upon are the right ones to meet your expectations. Best wishes
I recommend an in person consultation with a plastic surgeon to discuss your goals and be measured. After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements with different size and style breast implants and they choose what looks right for them. They also get to see what they would look like when the breasts have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. You get to see actual results and the surgeon's experience and not a virtual idea of what can be achieved. Women tell me that this process is very helpful in determining what size and style breast implant is right for them. Dr. Ted Eisenberg, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and Author. Dear Cute94032,breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Every lady has her idea of what "full" is. I would suggest meeting with a board certified plastic surgeon, being examined and measured, and trying on the range of sizes that best fits your frame and tissue. Then, you can decide what you actually like.
Breast augmentation would allow you to achieve a fuller/round look. Placing the implant under the muscle has the advantage of less chance for capsular contracture (bad scar tissue), more natural look, and less chance for visible rippling appearance at the top of the breasts. The downside to under the muscle is animation of the implant when flexing the pectoralis muscles. The animation can be reduced with a dual plane technique. If going over the muscle I do suggest a sub fascial plane. Regarding cc’s, I would suggest choosing an implant around 250-350 cc. I think this range will give you the fullness you desire and you won’t feel too top heavy.
A padded bra is what can be done without surgery. I would suggest meeting with a board certified plastic surgeon, being examined and measured, and trying on the range of implants that best fits your frame and tissue. Then, you can actually see what you like.
Just based on your photos, you do not need a lift. I would suggest having the augmentation first and see if that will help evert you nipple. Many inverted nipples evert with just an augmentation. If not, then it can be treated surgically in the office under local anesthesia.
You may have a slight capsule on the taller side. I would suggest seeing your plastic surgeon, once you have finished breast feeding for at least 6 months, and discuss your options.
