I was on Accutane 80 mg/day for 5 months. My last days of Accutane (Aug 20-30) I had two bouts of diarrhea and it seemed to go away after taking 2 Immodiums. Now, for the one month I have been off of the medication I have been experiencing diarrhea (just one bout of it and then it goes away) at least once or twice a week after eating certain foods (seems to be vegetables). Is this something to be concerned about or would it likely go away? This was my second course of Accutane(Last one in 09)

Dry skin and skin flaking are common while on Accutane. In our office, we recommend the Elevase Moisture Booster as a light moisturizer while on Accutane. Elevase contains opti-ceramides. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Los Angeles
