5 months ago I had voluma injected in my cheer throughs to lessen darkness under my eyes. it was a disaster. Now after 5 months underneath my left eye is a lump the size of a pea. Is this due to the dissolving? Am I going to have to have this lump removed? Or will it go away on its own? Is it going to get bigger?

Answer: Lower Eyelid Lump after Voluma Thank you for your question. This likely represents filler that is too superficial. It can be dissolved with hyaluronidase. To be sure, see two or more licensed and board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have these treatments. I hope this helps.

Answer: Pea sized lump after filler It is one of two things: a pocket of the filler itself, or a ball of scar tissue from so much handling and pressing of the area. Without an in-person examination it is impossible to tell you. If it is product, a small injection of hyaluronidase can dissolve it.
