Last question, when you go back to refill, are the old fillers gone gone, or do they just get less. And for Botox how long does it last? Sorry if the questions were a handful, I just don't want to undergo anything before I'm fully educated on the topic. I wanna ask what if I gain weight after that would they show less or what's the case. And how long do they last.
Answer: Botox/Xeomin/Dysport/Jeuveau Results--3-4 months in new areas of treatment Botox results take up to 1-2 weeks and last up to 3-4 months in new areas of treatment. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Dr. Emer

Answer: How Long do Fillers and Botox Last? Fillers Last for Variable Times You should try to schedule your dermal-filler touch-ups while you still look good, just so you can maintain the benefits you’d attained. Generally you don’t have to touch up fillers like Voluma and Sculptra for up to a year, Volbella in the lips for 6-8 months. Other fillers, like Restylane and Juvederm, every 8 months. Botox needs to be renewed every three to four months to maintain your wrinkle-free skin. As for Kybella, once you’ve completed your treatment cycle and eliminated the fat, the fat’s gone for good. Of course, if you gain weight, you could once more develop a double chin, but its proportions will be smaller in relation to the rest of your body than before your treatment. Consulting a board-certified dermatologist will help you decide which fillers to get and to come up with a maintenance schedule that allows you to look refreshed and beautiful continuously.

Answer: How long do fillers and Botox/Dysport last Great question. Neuromodulators like Botox and Dysport last 3-4 months on average and I recommend to my patients that I see them atleast every 4 months (3 times a year) for maintenance treatments. Hyaluronic acid based fillers for the lips usually last 6-9 months whiles for the midface/cheek they last 9-12 months. Sculptra can last up to 2.5 years although we recommend maintenance treatment yearly. The results of Kybella are permanent in that the fat cells treated are eliminated and do not return. As long you do not put on a large amount of weight, your Kybella results should be permanent.

Answer: I want to get lip, nose, and chin, smile line fillers and Kybella in my jaw. Hi, Your questions are perfect and I believe that the first step to getting excellent results. Fillers get metabolized but some harden and have to be dissolved with hyaluronidase. Botox lasts for 3-4 months but in some cases, it would last more than 6 months. Gaining weight would have minimum effect so no worries there. All the best, Justin Harper, M.D.
