Can someone have a Kybella or Ultherapy treatment after a facelift to cinch up a little under chin sagging? (Photo)

Kybella is a wonderful, minimally invasive way to put a finishing touch on your facelift by dissolving your chin fat and slightly tightening your skin. If you don’t have extra fat, but some extra skin  Ultherapy is the only device cleared for a nonsurgical lift of the skin under the chin. Kybella and non-invasive tightening devices like Ulthera can be used after facelift.   However, it is best to wait at least 3-6 months before considering something like this.  The ultherapy and other devices are likely to not be as successful after surgical facelifting because of the scar tissue.  Kybella can be effective if there is localized fat.  From your photo, it is difficult to tell if there is laxity, fat, scar tissue, or platysmal protrusion.   It would be best to be evaluated in person and consider all options.  However, make sure you see someone experienced in facial surgery.  Beware the medspa for complex treatments.
