Kybella is a wonderful, minimally invasive way to put a finishing touch on your facelift by dissolving your chin fat and slightly tightening your skin. If you don’t have extra fat, but some extra skin Ultherapy is the only device cleared for a nonsurgical lift of the skin under the chin. Consulting a board-certified dermatologist will allow the best treatment to be chosen based on your skin quality and needs.
Yes, we often perform Ultherapy and/or Kybella after a Facelift to get more of an outcome under the chin. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Kybella and non-invasive tightening devices like Ulthera can be used after facelift. However, it is best to wait at least 3-6 months before considering something like this. The ultherapy and other devices are likely to not be as successful after surgical facelifting because of the scar tissue. Kybella can be effective if there is localized fat. From your photo, it is difficult to tell if there is laxity, fat, scar tissue, or platysmal protrusion. It would be best to be evaluated in person and consider all options. However, make sure you see someone experienced in facial surgery. Beware the medspa for complex treatments. Best of luck.
Thank you for your question. And the answer is Yes you can have kybella and ultherapy done after a facelift.
Hello and thank you for your great question.Kybella is indicated for the reduction of submental fullness and while it does help with skin retraction post inflammation stage, that is not what it is specifically indicated for. The main use of this product is to destroy fat cells under the chin.In regards to skin tightening procedures, such as Ultherapy, the best thing to do is to consult with your Plastic Surgeon to see if this will enhance the benefits of your surgery. Since your Facelift was most likely an investment of money, time, etc. it would be best to ask your surgeon before any other procedures. There are times when a laser or ultrasound device can help enhance the benefit of your facelift or improve the actual texture of your skin.I hope this helps.Have a great day.
Yes, it is possible to have a skin tightening treatment or Kybella after a facelift. It's hard to tell based on the photo whether your issue if related to fat or skin laxity although I suspect the latter is the issue. I would give your skin some time to health after the facelift. If skin laxity is the issue, I prefer the newest generation Thermage FLX over Ultherapy.
I might offer a minor revision of the neck lift first. I doubt the Ultherapy will offer the amount of tightening desired. KyBella is an option as is directed superficial liposculpture.
Dear Stacy46557,Kybella typically takes 3 to 5 treatments to work. This is why I've stopped carrying Kybella in my office. I recommend neck liposuction more often then any injectable procedure for the neck now. It provides superior results gives me more control over the area than any ...
This needs an in-person evaluation. Most people need more than one vial and a series of treatments with Kybella. Both Kybella or neck liposuction are good options and will improve the double chin. It depends on your lifestyle and personality which would be better for you. Kybella is best for...
Both Kybella and laser hair removal are safe treatments that can be completed around thesame time. Neither treatment should harmfully impact the other. Kybella does have some sideeffects that can make the neck and under-chin area temporarily sensitive, so you may wish tohave your laser hair...
