The area around my mouth looks puffy. I notice this more so on the right side. I also have many creases (fat folds) around the mouth when smiling. I am curious as to if this could be corrected with filler in the nasolabial folds or what other options there are to correct this so that I may choose a doctor accordingly. Thank you in advance for your knowledge.
Answer: Area around my mouth puffy ? I appreciate your question.Difficult to comment from the photo as cannot see the whole face. The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam for peri oral rejuvenation. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative breast surgery. best of luck! Dr Schwartz

Answer: Most of us use Voluma or Perlane or Radiesse in these areas for the best results Thanks for the question and thanks for including the photo – but asnoted, the photo is not the best to make many accurate statements. I would suggest that you consult with a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon so that you can have the proper assessment and have the proper treatment plan reviewed with you – and this may be using fillers in the mid-cheek area which then can smoothen out the areas around the nasolabial folds. Most of us use Voluma or Perlane or Radiesse in these areas for the best results.

Answer: I think your cheeks need enhancing to correct puffiness around mouth This is not the best picture because it doesn't show the whole face. I see what you are saying. I think that putting filler in the NLF will exacerbate the problem. Lifting the area by placement of filler in the cheeks is the approach I would probably do.

Answer: Puffiness around mouth This photo is really hard to tell because the lighting is also bad which makes the mouth look more pronounced than it probably is. So, based solely on this photo, I would suggest fillers into the upper cheek region which will help lift that area that is puffy. Adding filler into the mouth and NLF area most likely will make it look even more pronounced than it already appears. If you can provide more photos, we may be able to give better answers.
