Can they be removed with liposuction or surgery? I've seen a few Board Certified Doctors and some say surgery and some say lipo will correct the problem. I'm confused. Also, I've been told that I need another TT to remove the extra loose skin and also, that I don't need another TT that what I see is not extra loose skin that is pure fat and can be removed with lipo. Please help me I don't know what to believe anymore. Please refer to before pics.Thank you!
Answer: TT dog ears --fat/loose skin/extra skin: can all this be fixed with liposuction or surgery? (Photos) Skin laxity does not magically end with the TT in many patients. Sometimes, this redundancy or puckering of the tissues at the ends of the incisions creates this appearance. The incision will have to be extended toward the back to remove this. Wait six months after TT before undergoing the dog ears repair. If you are at or near your ideal weight and have good skin elasticity, lipo should remove the stubborn pockets of fat that don’t respond to regular exercise, but the skin does need to be able to smooth back into place after the procedure is complete.

Answer: Tummy tuck with mesh Excess fat can be resolved with liposuction. However, from your side view, your abdomen bulges anteriorly. If you are not planning future pregnancies, I recommend abdominoplasty with mesh reinforcement. The mesh creates a more hourglass figure by compressing the abdominal wall resulting in early satiety and helps maintain a reduced weight. This will also allow you to resect excess skin and your incision can be placed lower on the abdominal wall. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Tummy tuck results Dear Caring437552, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Based on your photos, it looks like you would benefit from liposuction. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Liposuction For Tummytuck Revision I appreciate your concerns and frustrations, however my first comment must be that liposuction IS a form of surgery! If your tummy tuck is over one year old, then I recommend liposuction of your flanks and other areas of residual lipodystrophy to improve your result. You may require a small revision of your tummy tuck scar if the small area of bunching skin centrally above your scar does not settle down with time. Consult with your board-certified plastic surgeon to explore of the best options for you. Good luck.

It is difficult to evaluate the options without seeing photos, Definitely the most appropriate is to start (liposculpture and BBL), you are a candidate perfect, for the procedure, with this you can eliminate all localized fat, you will get the best results and have a defined appearance according to your body. everything depends on your BMI, if it is within the normal range, above 35 it can generate risks. It is advisable to consult with a certified plastic surgeon, for a good evaluation, to provide you with all the information you need to know about the appropriate recommendations, so that you can achieve the desired goals in your body.
