For best results, I recommend a hi definition procedure like VASER liposuction, which can be performed at the same time as a tummy tuck, depending on skin laxity. I use VASER HI DEF with ThermiRF/J Plasma/Renuvion/InMode BodyTite and fat grafting to get the most fat removal, skin tightening, contour and definition. This combination will give you the most toned result. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a hi definition physique expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Thank you for your question. It is hard to provided with a valid medical opinion without photos. I would suggest to be treated by board certificated plastic surgeon with experience in this procedure, to get the best desired results.Kind Regards,Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.-
Hi brandeyb18The procedure can be performed alone or be combined with other procedures such as tummy tuck. Liposuction is most appropriate for minimal to moderate fat removal that does not require skin tightening or excision. The procedure can be performed in the office under local anesthesia and oral sedation if only one or two small areas are requested or under general anesthesia at a surgery center for larger areas. Your BMI is 48.5, indicating your weight is in the Obesity category for women of your height. Ideal candidates for liposuction are at or near their ideal weight and have good skin elasticity. Lipo is intended to remove stubborn pockets of fat that don’t respond to regular exercise, as the skin does need to be able to smooth back into place after the procedure is complete.Recommend that you discuss diet modifications and an exercise program with your PCP to help you reach a BMI of 30 or below. This will minimize the risks of complications during and after surgery and enhance results.
At 4'11 and 240 lbs, your BMI is 47 and are not a candidate for surgery. I recommend you begin a low fat diet, core exercises such as sit-ups, planks, pilates and consult with a bariatric surgeon. You may be a candidate for bariatric surgery. Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
Dear brandeyb18,I understand your concern. It is best however that you consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to determine whether you can have several aesthetic surgeries in one session, as this would depend on various factors including but not limited to your general health condition, the type of anesthesia that will be used, and the type of surgeries that will be performed among others.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Hello and thank you for your questions. Given your height and weight, your BMI is at 48.5 and you are not a surgical candidate at this point. You will need to lose a significant amount of weight and get your BMI closer to 30 prior to undergoing major elective cosmetic surgery procedures. You are looking at having to lose 80-90 lbs. Once you have achieved this goal, you can then safely undergo liposuction or tummy tuck and BBL. Best wishes!
Thank you for your question and pictures. Yes, it is possible for you to get a liposuction. If you're willing to travel, Surgeons in the Dominican Republic have experience and very high standard of excellence when it comes to plastic surgery. I'm positive you can get what you're looking for.
Liposuction doesn’t treat cellulite directly, but when done properly it shouldn’t make it worse. The key is good skin elasticity and technique. If the skin is too loose, removing fat can make dimples more visible — in those cases, the best option is usually a Thigh Lift (Tight Lift) to rem...
If you are in good health with a BMI of 30 or below, being confined to a wheelchair should not prevent you from having lipo of your abdomen.
Thanks for the question. In this regard, I recommend you a Tummy Tuck to get a flat abdomen and waist and back Liposculpture, getting better curves especially in the waist, improving your body contour. Kind regards, Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.-
Pain control is important. I typically use whatever medication a patient has used in the past that has had success. If the patient has never had surgery or never used pain medication, I use oral narcotic meds of varying strengths. I think that many patients require prescription pain medications...
Hi there, thank you for your question. Actually, you can go back to work after 5 days but if you do not feel well enough, you can rest for 1 week. I think that it will be enough.
