As we age, our eyelids naturally sag and droop. A combination approach would be best to see visible improvement. In terms of non-surgical treatment options, I would recommend a Chemical Brow Lift (using Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, or Jeuveau) and filler injections to rejuvenate the temples, eyebrow, eyelid, eye troughs, upper eye hollows, and forehead. I typically combine this with Ultherapy and thread lifting to lift the brow; RF and skin tightening laser treatments to stimulate collagen production and rejuvenate the skin; and laser or superficial RF devices for improvements in texture, color, and any crepey skin around the eyes as needed. In some cases, surgery is the best solution to achieve the desired results. See an expert for a formal consultation. Best, Dr. Emer.
Thank you for your question. Botox can be used to lift the brow at most 3mm. However, it would be helpful to have a photo to determine if you truly have a droopy lid that may be improved with Botox or if you would benefit from a blepharoplasty due to excess skin. Please schedule an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to explore your options.
Hello, thank you for your question. A non-surgical brow lift with Botox will raise your brow 2-3mm. Botox only lasts 3-4 months so you will need to have this procedure repeated. Schedule a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon.
Thank you for your question. Everyone's anatomy is different, so an in person consultation is always best. Your eyebrow can raise a few millimeters with the help of Botox, Dysport, Jeuveau or Xeomin. This raise in your eyebrows can open your eye and help with a droopy eyelid. If you are trying to stay away from eyelid surgery, another good option is Ultherapy. Ultherapy heats up the tissue, stimulating collagen for a eyebrow lift as well. Results are seen over a few months and we recommend using Alastin Regenerating Skin Nectar before and after treatment.
Thank you for sharing your question. This technique can only improve the upper eyelid by 1-2 millimeters at best. Hope this helps.
Thank you for your question.Typically Botox can raise a brow anywhere from 1-3 mm. This depends on the patient and condition so the most important thing to keep in mind is that a face to face consultation will provide you with the most through treatment plan.
Botox can lift the brow 1-3 millimeters (compared to a surgical brow lift which can lift the brow up to a centimeter or more). You should have a consultation with a physician prior to Botox injection to determine if Botox is actually what you need for your "droopy lid" or referral to an oculoplastic surgeon for a blepharoplasty (an upper eyelid lift) to treat your condition.
We would advise you to attend a complimentary consultation with one our Botox Doctors. They will then assess the area you are interested in having treated and will be best placed to give you a clear treatment plan. Injecting Botox into the right anatomical area of the brow can help drastically with a “droopy lid”.
I find people respond differently depending on age, how much sagging skin, etc. For most people, somewhere between 1-3mm is possible, and often gives a nice results - looks better, easier to put on makeup etc.
Typically we see a 1-3 mm lift in the brows. Make sure you tell the injector that's what you're looking for. It will require more units in the area under the tail of the eyebrow to get max lift. Best of luck to you
