Love my results other than a flat area and these hollow areas. Can this be fixed? (photos)

Unfortunately I do not have any before pictures for comparison but it is not uncommon to have cellulite looking dimples after BBL. This often results from the fat that melted away taking good fat along with it. Frequently, buttock implants can not only smooth out the dimples but also add projection in the middle of the butt cheek where BBL fat transfer often fails. Additionally, those “hollow areas” respond very poorly to fat transfer and usually the only reliable and permanent option is cosmetic hip implants. Glad to be of help.

I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment it would be difficult to determine what is wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after thorough examination you can get proper recommendations and advice.

People who have a flat spot or cellulite on the central lower part of the buttocks would not have that area expand in the cellulite can be made worse with fat transfer.

This is because of connective tissue that holds the skin to the underlying fascia at a certain distance. These connective tissue bands will not expand when fat is added.

The best analogy I can give you is the palm of the hand.

You can lift or tent the skin on the back of your hand but now try doing that in the central palm. The palm of the hand has lots of connective tissue bands that help stabilize the skin and allows us to carry heavy weights Without the skin sliding all over the place.

The same is true for the pressure point on your buttocks.

Considering you had a flat spot your doctor did an amazingly good job. I typically warn people about this before surgery because the condition is predictable. Anyone who has a flat spot before the BBL will most likely have one after.

I don’t know we’re the blowout is but because the areas around the flat spot expand easily the flat spot can sometimes look worse after the BBL.
