I had a nose job when I was 20 years old, 6 years ago. These last couple of years I’ve noticed one side of my nose is slightly tilted to the left and the skin on that side feels much thinner than on the right side. Both sides look very different but I don’t know if this kind of thing can be resolved with another surgery or things like fillers would be enough.

Answer: Revision rhinoplasty From what I see your nose looks ok. Minor degrees of asymmetry are common and difficult to correct. I don’t think another rhinoplasty would be worthwhile

Answer: Nasal assessment All people have facial asymmetry. This is normal and should not be seen as something that needs to be corrected. During and logical development, the two sides of the face develop independently from each other and eventually fused in the midline. When we make a nasal assessment always look at the the notes in context to the rest of the face. Take a look at how plastic surgeons take before and after pictures to get an idea. Jamaican assessment, funny outcome of a previous operation. We generally need to see proper before and after pictures. If you don’t have before and after pictures and ask your surgeon to forward the picture they took. Personally, I don’t see a need for intervention. Best, Matt hagstrom, MD
