38F, buccal fat removal for face slimming & jawline enhancement? (Photos)

Question

Hi! I am 38F who has always had a round face (thanks genetics!) and have always been concerned about my jawline, full cheeks, and double chin. I had chin lipo about 12 years ago, and wasn't totally happy with it as it still persisted. I also get Botox in my masseter area for slimming and to help with some tmj pain.I'm curious, would I be a good candidate for buccal fat removal or anything else to define my jawline?

You are a candidate for buccal fat removal. This would reduce some of the fullness in your lower cheeks. Buccal fat removal is commonly paired with jawline lipo, which would add more definition to your jawline. You also appear to be a candidate for a genioplasty. Your chin is considered short and is slightly recessed. From the front, it also has some asymmetry. By bringing the chin forward and down, it would add length and definition to your jawline and tighten the skin under the chin. This would also correct the chin asymmetry and create more of a "v" shape, reducing the overall round appearance of the face. Hello, hope you are well. I would highly recommend that you consider FaceTite to improve your lower facial contour and jawline. The technical term for this procedure is 'bipolar radiofrequency'. It is an energy-based treatment that treats the skin and subcutaneous fat/fibroseptal network. The overall effect is to tighten the skin, slim the lower face, and enhance the jawline. There are no scars, just three entry points in the skin. Buccal fat removal could be done but you would not see as much of a result with that procedure alone. Hope this helps!

It looks, based on these photos, that aggressive liposuction of neck and jawline would be acceptable option. Otherwise, (that can be decided only on in-person evaluation) neck lift with direct removal of both superficial and deep neck fat, may be better option. Buccal fat removal may be included in both options. Good luck.
