What is this lump/ ledge on my chin 2 days post Botox. (Photos)

The Botox has relaxed the upper part of the mentalis muscle, but not the bottom. The bottom part of the muscle is still lifting the chin, creating the lump / ledge. I'd wait until a whole week goes by as the lower muscle may still get the effect from the Botox over the next several days. Thank you for sharing your question and photographs.  After two days this is likely a combination of soft tissue swelling as well as incomplete muscle paralysis.  I would recommend allowing your results to mature over the next 10-12 days and you should see an improvement in your current outcome.  If this appearance persists, you may require additional Botox to help further paralyze your chin muscle.  Hope this helps.

Thank you for your question and congratulations on your wedding. It is still very early  in the process,  I would suggest to wait for 5-7 days , and then go back to your plastic surgeon for further correction if needed. You still have time, no worries, it can be easily fixed. 

While it is hard to determine exactly what is happening in a photo, it is early after a Botox injection. Certainly it is possible that the area will even out in the next few days. If not, don't fear!! A few more units of Botox placed in the still active areas of the mentalis (chin) muscle should correct the issue. The Botox effect will be waning at the three month point. Please see your Plastic Surgeon as I am sure that she can help you if this persists.

It is hard to tell from the photo but you may have a central hematoma (looks like the area is discolored) - if so, that will likely gradually resolve. I would suggest icing and giving it a week - if there is no improvement, I would suggest seeing your injector for further evaluation and recommendations.

 My dosing is usually 5 units and in the middle of the chin to avoid this problem. It will most likely last for 8 weeks or longer until it gets better. You can try some in the middle of the chin but it probably won't work. I don't think this will improve if you wait.

It is very difficult to determine what is going on with your chin from your photos. Botox in the chin can help with the rippled affect on the chin; the  set in gradually over 5-7 days and last 3-4 months. My recommendation is that you go back to see the doctor. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. Since it is still early, the Botox may not have reached its full effect for all parts of the mentalis (chin) muscle.  Due to your special day being so soon, I would recommend returning to your plastic surgeon for additional neuromodulator (#Botox, #Dysport, #Xeomin) in the remaining active portion of the muscle.
