After a large weight loss I have a lot of remaining skin. I exercise regularly, eat properly, and have maintained my 160 pound loss for over 3 years. But the body is a mess. I am getting conflicting advice on whether an extended tummy tuck (with potential for butt lift later on if desired) or a 360 body lift would be required. What could be done for these thunder thighs, especially in the back?

Answer: Body contouring after massive weight loss Thank you for your question and photographs. After loosing so much weight there is extra skin all over circumferance. lower body lift will tighen your abdomen, Mons, back, butt and lateral thigh, butt autoaugmentation can be done simultaneously. scar will be hidden in under garment Best of luck

Answer: Tummy Tuck/360 Body Lift Thank you for your question. Congratulations on your weight loss. Your a good candidate for a 360 body lift. A 360 degree body lift, if performed in one operation, has a high, serious complication rate. I like to divide this into two shorter and well pollarated procedures. I would first perform a tummy tuck and then a flank lift. The Tummy Tuck I invented gives a natural looking tummy and belly button, a relatively flat tummy, significantly LESS PAIN and FASTER RECOVERY versus traditional techniques. The patients typically wake up from surgery in no pain. They walk to the recovery room. It is not uncommon for patients to take only Tylenol for pain after surgery. The oldest patient I performed this type of tummy tuck on is 80 years old, and she only took Tylenol for pain. It is not uncommon for patients to be driving 7 days after surgery. I did have a 64 year old woman who drove 4 days after surgery. Six weeks later you can have a Flank Lift. Believe it or not recovery is quicker than a tummy tuck.
