Facial hair growth is a genetic trait. If you have very little facial hair there isn't a growth supplement to increase facial hair.
There's no reason to not take supplements like that. But keep in mind they aren't proven to work- some people may get results, but results are not guaranteed by any means. There isn't any harm in trying.
Hi, Sahib--Unfortunately, there is no supplement or medication that can stimulate beard growth--this is something that is entirely under the control of your genes. When you are older, you may be a candidate for a beard transplant depending on your family history, the quality of your donor area, and any signs of hair loss on your scalp. Thanks for your question--I hope this was helpful.Dr. ballon
Many young men want to accelerate their beard growth and ask about it. It takes age (genetic triggers which occur in family lines) so if you want to find out when your beard will grow out, you need to find out when your father or grandfather started to grow their beard. Hormones should have kicked in nicely by the time a man reaches 18 but he must wait out his genetics as hormone alone are not responsible for the onset of beard grown. Beard transplants can be done when the young man is a bit older (over 25) if the beard has not grown in yet
