1. As your hair grows, it will fill in some. 2. It’s better to use the hairs to achieve good density before extending beyond what the donor hairs will actually cover.
Hello and thank you for the question. If you just had your transplant done, you will likely have some swelling in the forehead that can alter your final look. I would wait for this to subside before making your determination. If you are unhappy with your hairline at that point, I recommend scheduling a follow-up with your surgeon to see if additional transplantation can be done to adjust your outcome. Good luck to you!
A normal hairline is about 8-10 cm or 3-4 inches above the middle of the brow. Yours appears to be in a normal position however there might be room to lower it slightly. I would wait until it is fully grown in about one year and than reevaluate.
Have you just had a transplant done? If so, it seems that you still have a mild swelling on your forehead. It means that it's too early to say if the hairline is too high or not. You may want to wait for two more weeks and talk to your surgeon again.
It appears from your pictures they are taken maybe the day after your procedure. You have some mild swelling over the forehead area and this will distort the look of your hairline. Best to allow this to naturally dissipate and then judge the height and design. The hairline position is normally agreed well in advance. It takes into consideration a number of factors. Mainly your hair loss stage and hair characteristics being able to give you a balanced looking hair coverage.
Hello, great question. The answer to this question is really about personal preference. It looks as though is falls within the “normal” range but if you’re unhappy with your hairline it really doesn’t matter what “normal” is. I think you should wait at least a few more months, let if grow out a bit and decide then if you’re happy with it or not. Good luck to you.
It all depends what your goal was and what your hair loss history is. If you anticipate to loose further hair and are younger, a conservative new hairline is not a bad idea. The frontal view should be broken into thirds for the which the hairline to the area between your brows making up one third then brows to below nose next and then from the base of the nose to chin the last third. Each should be about equal. (RULE OF THIRDS)
The way to find out is to lift your eyebrows and as your forehead creases, the hairline should be one finger breadth above the highest crease
The first two week after surgery is the period that you are recommended to treat your recipient area with care. However, it's been 20 days so far, you can massage your hair without a problem. The hair shedding during this time is normal too. These fallen hair will regrow in the next 3-4 months...
Shedding happens normally with the newly grafted hairs or shock loss can occur with you native hairs. Either way both are normal. I don’t think you have too much to worry about.
Yo can apply aloe vera to your donor area whenever you feel discomfort, however on the transplanted area i don't suggest it.
