3 months post-op. Is my newly transplanted hair shedding normally, or am I losing them permanently? (photos)

Shedding can be seen on the later stages which is also considered normal. You are still at a early stage. I suggest my patients to use minoxidil after the 6th month.

Shedding happens normally with the newly grafted hairs or shock loss can occur with you native hairs. Either way both are normal. I don’t think you have too much to worry about.

I would try some PRP as it is the only thing that you can do that MIGHT help and likely doesn't hurt. Ofcourse your other option is worrying but no mater what I tell you (normal or not normal shedding) you can't do anything other than PRP. I hope you understand my logic. Bottom line is the shedding of the grafts is normal. THe shedding of the native hair is not ideal but also can occur and will get better. 

Shedding come in two forms, (1) shedding of the grafted hairs in the transplanted grafts, and (2) shock loss of the normal native hair.
