The doctor provided very detailed information and advice. It's been almost 2 years since I had this done and my hair has grown very well, particularly in terms of my hairline which looks very natural. There were follow-up appointments where pictures were taken to track the progress at 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year, which clearly show the difference. Overall, I am very satisfied.
Dear readers, I am very satisfied with Dr. Prima Tossaborvon, with her team and the achieved. The team is really very professional, helpful, competent, and always very friendly. I felt very comfortable in Dr. Prima Tossaborvon's practice from the first minute. I received absolutely fantastic care and was properly informed at all times. The result is excellent and I am absolutely satisfied with my decision for this treatment and with the fantastic work of Dr. Prima Tossaborvon and her team. Even more than a year after the surgery, the online follow-ups are very professional and answered quickly. I personally can and will definitely recommend Dr. Prima Tossaborvon and her team and wish her all the best for the future. Christof from Austria
My experience with Prima and her team at Hairsmith was great, it couldn't have turned out better, initial consult was great, emails replied to promptly, questions asked and explained perfectly, the procedure was so smooth, if i where to do it again I wouldn't think twice to choose the same surgeon. I flew from Australia to Bangkok and booked everything in before I traveled, everything went smooth and follows consults and emails where there post surgery to make sure everything was going in the right direction. Definitely recommend Prima if you are thinking of getting a FUE done abroad.
If you're unsure about the procedure and Dr. Prima don't be. Her staff and her assistants were very kind and took care of my throughout the whole process. I was a bit nervous but they put my mind at ease. My procedure was an intense all day affair but it flew by while watching Netflix on my phone. I even fell asleep at one point. The only time it did hurt was during the administering of the numbing fluid with needles but that went by very quickly. In the end the results are amazing, look natural, and all my friends compliment how good it looks. I live in the USA and the trip was worth it.
Everything from the consultation to the surgery to the post-operation service was just perfect. The consultation was informative and honest. There was no pushing either - Dr Prima spoke about the recommendations on what needs to be done, and let me decide without any sales techniques. The operation day was a great experience. Lots of information was given before, during and after. There was almost no pain throughout the surgery. The staff were so friendly. The post-surgery service was great too. Clear instructions were given, and the staff at Hairsmith were always happy to answer any questions I had. I would strongly recommend Dr Prima at Hairsmith. There are so many places in Thailand so it's hard to decide, but trust me - Dr Prima at Hairsmith is the place to go.

Prior to visiting the clinic, I was able to do consultation over emails and the grand total was exactly quoted by the clinic. There is no surprises like extra cost or medication and everything was included in the quotation via email. The doctor was very detailed in her explanation during consultation. I felt very comfortable and felt 100% safe that I chose the right clinic to perform such a major task in my life.Due to my job nature, I need to put my hair up and they accommodated to my requests. I was surprised by the lunch (because it was delicious)as I took a break in between the long procedure. There was follow up through the email even one year later. FUE is ten times more in my country, I felt like given the cost that I paid the total experience was really worth every moment flying over and emailing to and forth over the months. A definitely worth and recommendation to the ones that is facing issues with receding hair line.
I saw DR. Prima back in early Feb 2020 for my hair lost problem. These are my reviews: 1 - DR. Prima is extremely professional / she took the time to explain what i am about to expect from this procedure 2 - She had a team of wonderful yet experienced staff working non stop to ensure that the procedure went on smoothly 3 - There is also a lady who made all these possible (UTOO), she was the one who coordinated on all the bookings for overseas customers from the start to all the follow ups I strongly recommend anyone who is facing hair lost problems to look for DR. PRIMA. Trust her that she will fix it for you. Lastly, Thank you DR. PRIMA. I cannot say enough thank you.
I am a man in my early 50ies, with a receeding hairline, luckily, from the front, so I could hide it reasonably well. I am exactly one of those guys who never thought of getting plastic surgery, the term itself is somewhat off putting already. However, with the ever increasing hairline, and still vain ( aren't we all) I was increasingly getting aware of it. I also have an unlucky distribution, the back of my head is think with hair, somewhat unfair I always thought. I started to look into FUE hair transplants, initially not with the intention to go ahead, but more out of curiosity. In the back of my mind I thought, once I leave Asia back for Europe ( I am German but live in Hong Kong) , I might get the hair done. Being German, I started to look closer at the subject , read reviews and at some point I got some quotations. I knew Bangkok and it's good reputation for healthcare, I also got alternative quotes from Korea, which turned out way more expensive. I think, I ended up with Prima out of a combination of luck and research. It was a big step to pay the initial fee, as this was the signal this is really happening. I think, this initial step is the biggest one, for probably everybody who is looking into this treatment for the first time. Once I arrived in Bangkok and at the clinic, my mind was immediately put at ease. This is not some back street abortionist, this is a proper clinic where things are done thoroughly and properly. I don't want to go into all the details as to what the procedure involves, but at times there were close to 20 supporting staff in the OP, literally splitting hair to use for the "front row", so it looks natural. The procedure is not super uncomfortable, but I recomend to take enough time off, now, with working from home, you can do this procedure probably much easier. The funny thing is, nobody noticed it, few days after the OP, I went out with friends, and nobody noticed anything. A lot can be done to hide the initial procedure, you will look the worst after about 6 - 8 weeks, and then, hair starts to gradually appear. I am just at the 6 month mark, and my hairline substantially changed. For the first time in years, I can actually think of what type of hairstyle I could have as opposed to what lengths is good to hide the receding hair line. I had, as far as I recall, 2700 transplants, it took less time as my donor area was super good ( plenty of hair, thank god)What I would say is, find the right time to do it, then, be patient, you look already much better after 3, certainly after 6 months. And as for the money, how much crap do you spend on things you actually don't need? For me, this is the best investment I have ever done, and Prima and her staff are excellent at what they do. ( there is plenty of pre and post OP check up) I will not supply photos, because I am a private person, but I can reassure that this review was not written by a bot. All I can say, go ahead, you will certainly not regret it, you won't have to fear that look into the mirror anymore or edit every photo you take, if your hair looks okay...EJ in HK
I have been facing hair lost problem for many years. I have tried few methods but the result was not effective. After reading some articles in internet, I get to know about the hair restoring method called FUE or FUT. So, I have tried my luck to search the web to understand this hair restoring method. There are several clinics around the world (Korea, Turkey, Thailand, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, etc). After considering and reading the customer's review, I have decided to choose one of the clinic in Thailand, HairSmith Clinic. I was worried when making the decision to pursue the treatment, as non of my friends or relative has done this treatment before. However, to my surprise, the admin staff from HairSmith Clinic was very helpful and professional in making all the arrangement from me, including taking care my stay in Thailand and transport to/from airport. When I first met Dr. Prima, I also impressed with her professional explanation, patient and confident to restore my hair via FUE method. The whole process was about 10hrs (2500 grafts) and it was a little painful (like a bit by an ant) during the operation. Fortunately, it was worthwhile for the pain and waiting, and I am able to see the result after 3 months of my operation. My hair is getting stronger and stabilize after 6 months. Lastly, I would like to thank Dr. Prima and her team for giving a professional skill and patient during the process to restore my hair. I am a little regret as I should have added few more hundreds graft so that I will look better (lol).... Thanks again and I would like to recommend HairSmith Clinics @ Dr. Prima if she/he is looking for restoring their hair, provided you are willing to spend some money. Nevertheless, trust me, it is worth the try if you are keen to see a new image of you. Good luck!
Yes, hair transplant is a good option for you to restore your hairline. It's the only permanent solution for hair loss so far, and the graft's survival rate is more than 90% if the procedure is conducted correctly. From your photos, you need about 1,500 grafts.
To lower a hairline, you need about 1,500 grafts. The FUE is an option for you as your upcoming procedure doesn't require a lot of grafts. With this technique, you only need to shave the donor site, which is located at the back of your head. Non-shaven FUE is also available, but the price will double up.
As there's hair existing in that area, you might need around 1,000 grafts. However, this is a rough estimate from photos. You're advised to see board-certified surgeons for an in-person consult. They will check your current density and measure the area, which is the best practice to find out the exact number.
Thank you for your message. To restore the front, you will need about 2,500 grafts. However, this is just a rough estimate from your photos. You're still recommended to see board-certified surgeons for an in-person consult. They will physically measure the recipient area, which is the best practice to find out the exact number.
At two-month mark, it doesn't cause any harms to the follicle. By the way, having pimples during this period is a normal event. You can just leave it and do nothing if it doesn't annoy you.
